 I suffered from chronic sciatica for over 30 years, seeing different Chiropractors for treatment during that time.  A friend suggested I see Dr. Corey.  During my examination, I mentioned that my right heel was numb.  I had been under a doctor's care for several months for severe plantar fasciitis.  Two shots of cortisone and twelve sessions of physical therapy hadn't helped.  My doctor suggested surgery, which I refused.

After 3 adjustments from Dr. Corey, I felt a tingling in the arch of my foot.  This was the beginning of my foot getting the feeling back.  Over a period of weeks the numbness was completely gone and so was the pain.  Besides all the above good news, I have not had a problem with my sciatica ever since I started with Dr. Corey over a year ago.  Thank you Dr. Corey.  Wish I'd found you sooner!

I just wanted to write and thank you for all your help! 
I am feeling so much better now not only physically, but mentally.  I would like to give a brief overview on my recovery for those who may not believe that the right Chiropractic care can be beneficial to them. I have always had slight back discomfort but nothing major.  Back in February, I was seeing a Chiropractor in Encino, CA who was recommended by a friend.  I would go in twice a week and he would adjust me the same way every time, the pain would be relieved, and I would go home, but my back definitely wasn't getting any better and one morning I woke up to extreme lower back pain.  I took two Advil and went into work.  The next morning, the pain was so bad I was in tears and drove to the emergency room.  They gave me a shot for the pain and prescribed some Vicodin and told me to stay in bed.  Next thing I knew I was on disability, going though physical therapy, seeing an orthopedic surgeon, having numerous blood tests done, had a cat scan done, and was prescribed muscle relaxants to further help with the pain!  After two months of this, I wasn't any better and very depressed and frustrated.  To make matters worse, I dropped over 20 pounds and my blood tests were coming up unhealthy.  I was also being told by the physical therapist I would have to find a job where I didn't sit all day once I started work again!

I finally called Dr. Corey and asked him what he recommended.  He wanted me to come in but since I lived in Encino, it was quite a drive with my back feeling the way it was.  After ruling out all other options and still being on disability, I decided to move back to Orange County and stay with a friend so I could see Dr. Corey on a regular basis.

So began my recovery process.  The first week after seeing Dr. Corey my back was feeling much better and I was able to cut way back on my medications.  After the second week I was only taking medication as needed, and by the third week, I was totally off of ALL medication!  I not only was feeling better physically, but mentally because Vicadin makes you feel like you are on cloud nine all day.  Dr. Corey put me on an exercise program and told me that I must do them if I wanted to hold my adjustments.  He gave me some organic vitamins and set me up on a better eating plan.  I was not only feeling much better, but gained back some of the weight I had lost.  I feel like a new person.  I work a regular sitting down full time job and went from 3 visits a week to one visit a week and now I am only going in on an "as needed" basis.  Dr. Corey adjusts me different every time unlike others.  His insight with the nervous system amazes me and he is into natural solutions that do work.  He even got rid of my daughter's earache with an adjustment!  No matter how strange Dr. Corey's techniques seem, they work.  He has gotten rid of my headaches and just puts me in an all-round better mood!  I highly recommend Dr. Corey to anyone who is experiencing pain or discomfort anywhere on his or her body.  The relief he provides is not only beneficial for your physical well being, but also for your all-around emotional well being.  Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for all your help.

I really wasn't myself for months.  I had pain and couldn't get relief from the usual soak in the hot tub.  Dr. Corey helped me to isolate the problem quickly and within 4 weeks I felt 100% better.  Now I get adjusted every week to avoid the neck and back problems.

I came to Dr. Corey on the advice and insistence of my dentist.  I was unable to walk for several months due to a back injury...so I thought.  Come to find out that all of the pain I was experiencing was due to misalignment in my neck, which not only caused severe migraine headaches but was the true origin of all my back pain.  I had used Chiropractic methods before and was a little skeptical.  I found rather quickly that Dr. Corey's method of treatment was far from the "norm" practiced in other chiropractic offices.  He views our bodies as whole entities with skeletal, muscular, and neurological branches and all need each other for perfect functionality.  I have found my migraine headaches have decreased considerably and I have not had any further painful episodes with lower back pain in keeping with regular monthly adjustments.  I have recommended Dr. Corey to all of my friends and family and all have been benefitted from his approach to Chiropractic.

I was delighted with the tender care and obvious dedication that you have for your patients.  This is hard to find now a days because everyone always concentrates on the material.  I feel so much better with the visits I made to your office.  Also I feel lucky to have met such a caring Doctor.

I want to thank your office for the care that you provided to me.  I have always had recurring headaches (I am only 22) and was told that I would have them the rest of my life.  My mother and grandmother also have them also.  The doctor would give me prescriptions for pain relievers; I must have used all of them on the market.  My body would get used to one kind then it would stop working on me so we would go on to other kinds.  Finally I graduated from taking my daily pills to going to the doctor’s office and getting injections of medications.  These really made me feel no pain, but I was getting afraid that I would have to be on medicine the rest of y life.  And still it wasn't solving the problem just masking it.  I was too young for this I thought, so I decided to try a different approach..."Chiropractic".  I've heard people talk about how it has helped them from ear aches to car accidents and it was a drug free way to go, so I gave it a shot.  Now about 4 months later I am virtually headache free as well as drug free.  I am very grateful for the help Dr. Corey has given me.  My mother is going to try Chiropractic as well as my grandmother.

About 5 months ago, my life came to a radical screeching halt.  I had been injured on the job, thus began my severe low back pain.  As the days and weeks went by, I felt as if everything I was had slipped away with this pain.  Not only could I not walk at all, but I couldn't even simply lift my legs to get into the shower without screaming in pain.  After weeks of lying on the floor not being able to move, narcotics (all which made me ill) and different therapy, nothing was helping me.  I was seeing seven different Doctors, but none of them could figure out what was wrong with me and had no idea how to even treat me.  They all made me believe that I would never be the same again without having surgery. 

I had a friend who had also been in pain, and he insisted I call Dr. Corey, who had saved him from going under the knife.  That one call changed my life completely!  Dr. Corey was the first Doctor who actually gave me an examination!?  I knew on my first visit, I was in the best care (I'm a RMA, and have worked with many doctors).  He is the only doctor who was able to make any progress with me and managed to make me feel better.  I don't know what would've happened to me if I had not been under Dr. Corey's care, and words can't express how thankful I am that Dr. Corey has helped me start to get my life back.  I now have a better quality of life that I ever had before.

I would like to thank you for helping me with my migraine headaches.  I have had ocular migraine syndrome for about 20 years.  I had grown used to the inconvenience and the pain.  Since my migraines caused problems with my vision I would have to stop whatever I was doing, take Imitrex pills and wait 20-30 minutes to regain my full sight.  However, even with the pill there would still be pain.  Since I have been seeing you, the amount of headaches I get are so few, I cannot even remember when the last one was!  I have not had my prescription for Imitrex filled in over a year because I don't need it.  I am confident this has all happened because of your treatment, and once again, I thank you.

My friend and room-mate referred me to Dr. Corey because I was experiencing upper neck problems.  It was so painful that it interfered with my daily activities, including work!  After seeing Dr. Corey for the first time, I noticed a difference immediately.  Most doctors do not take the time to explain what is wrong, but Dr. Corey is very thorough and it was a great learning experience on low to live healthier.
